What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?

I’ve always loved the soft glow of the lights . . . and decorating our home with warm reds, greens and gold. It’s also fun to sift through memories as you pull out old ornaments and trim the tree.

What is your favorite holiday memory?

Spending Christmas with Sitto, which is the name we called our grandmother. Every year, the whole family – Aunts, Uncles, cousins and in-laws – packed into her tiny home for a Lebanese feast, which included kibbee, tabouli, stuffed grape leaves, Ma’mouls (pasteries) and freshly baked pita bread. Talk about sensory stimulation!

Do you still believe in Santa Claus?

The spirit of Santa . . . sharing love, giving to others, and being grateful for all the people in your life.

A lot of people get that warm, fuzzy feeling around this time of year, are you one of those people?

Not sure about fuzzy, but definitely warm . . .

Have you ever gone caroling or wanted to?

Yes . . . mostly when I was young – with school and church groups.

If you had a choice of the perfect weather for Christmas would it be cold and snowy, or warm and sunny?

Definitely snowy . . . with huge, fluffy flakes -- preferably falling on a landscape that’s already blanketed in white!
